Henniez is a municipality in the Swiss canton of Vaud, located in the district of Broye-Vully.Henniez is first mentioned in 1380 as Ennyt. In 1668 it was mentioned as Ignie and in 1781 it was called Ingniez.[3]Henniez has an area, as of 2009[update], of 2.61 square kilometers (1.01 sq mi). Of this area, 1.47 km2 (0.57 sq mi) or 56.3% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.63 km2 (0.24 sq mi) or 24.1% is forested.
